Installed Big Sur on Mac Mini Late 2012 using Patches Sur
Finally installed 11.1 on my Late 2012 Mac mini using Patched Sur.

I waited a long time since this is my primary machine. Could have waited for 11.2, but jumped in anyway after reading all the success stories with this model.
Thank you to u/BenSova for creating an easy to use patcher.
Few things I did that may be useful for others. I used a 16GB SD card as my installer drive since I did not have a Flash drive handy. The Mini has a built-in SD reader which I've used to create supported installers in the past, so I thought I'd try it out, and it worked.
Creating the installer took maybe 20-minutes; doing the install took under an hour. The only thing that didn't work for me is running the kext patcher in my Applications folder. It said it couldn't find the install disk, maybe because it was on my SD card.
I dragged the kext patcher directly from the install drive to the Terminal and was able to successfully apply the patch and get WiFi working.
Another thing to note, I use a Magic Mouse with this Mini and I wasn't sure it would work until the kext patch was applied, but it did, so that was good.
I think Big Sur actually performs better than Catalina on this Mac and apps seem to be launching a bit quicker. Only hiccup I've seen so far is Safari crashed on me once, but I'm not sure if it's just Safari acting up or something else.
Overall, it's been working well for the past few days and I'll probably upgrade to 11.2 using the patcher a few days after release if no one is reporting any issues.
