Say I do to TIL DEATH DO US PART, an action-packed tale of wedded terror directed by Timothy Woodward Jr (THE CALL). This fight-filled thrill ride from the creator of FINAL DESTINATION makes its UK debut on digital this April, thanks to Plaion Pictures.

After a wonderful pre-wedding celebration, a bride-to-be (Natalie Burn) gets cold feet and does a runner, leaving a shocked and angry groom (Ser’Darius Blain) fuming at the altar. Out of the picture, the bride tries to enjoy some down time on what would have been their honeymoon, but her betrothed has other ideas…Seven angry killer groomsmen make an unwelcome appearance and the bride takes them on one by one in a brutal and bloody fight for survival.

Initially, TIL DEATH DO US PART kicks off looking as if it was looking to walk the same path as 2019’s excellent READY OR NOT, starring Samara Weaving and Andie MacDowell. Fortunately, it veers off in a different direction, leaning more towards JOHN WICK territory but to say anything more about where this movie goes would be to steal one of the only two aces that it has up its sleeve. The other ace is the film’s lead Natalie Burn.

Essentially this is an action flick that pleasingly revels in bloody kills, however, it’s far too long, the pacing is uneven, the dialogue is awful and before too long you’ll be itching to switch it off. The Groomsmen – who are looking to kill off the bride are very unlikeable – I know, they are meant to be unlikeable – but they are SO unlikeable that it becomes a chore to endure their on-screen antics. Had this had a leaner runtime and been less bogged down with protracted, lifeless dialogue scenes this would have made for a leaner, meaner, more agreeable flick.

Til Death Do Us Part is on UK digital now
