Earlier this year, we reported that two Bridgerton cast members are reportedly dating in real life. Now, it seems the hit Netflix series has made a love match out of two more actors in its season three cast.
Originally, it had come to our attention that Luke Thompson, aka Benedict Bridgerton, had been dating a Featherington. The 35-year-old actor had been seen cuddling up with his co-star Harriet Cains, who plays Philipa Featherington.
Now, more goss has emerged regarding the cast’s love lives, including that real-life Prudence Featherington (Bessie Carter) is dating real-life Lord Debling (Sam Phillips).
According to the Daily Mail, the actors started dating after meeting on the set of season three in 2022. Bessie reportedly moved in with Sam only three months after filming wrapped in March 2023.
The two have made no secret of their romance on social media, sharing snaps of each other on romantic vacations. Phillips has also met Carter’s famous parents: actress Imelda Staunton (Harry Potter) and actor Jim Carter (Downton Abbey).

Are Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton Dating?
Given their on-screen chemistry, and even their apparent affection for each other during the Bridgerton season 3 press tour, rumours have swirled that Nicola and Luke’s romance extended off screen.
While they certainly make a smashing pair, Nicola has since confirmed they’re just friends.
“We think it’s really sweet, I think because we truly love each other,” Nicola told Extra of the dating rumours. “I’ll never get to do something like this again, on this scale. It’s so nice having such a lovely friend that I can do all this with,” she said.
