Letitia Wright’s latest film, ‘Aisha‘, releases on Friday, May 10, 2024 from Samuel Goldwyn Films and Tubi Films, delving into the poignant narrative of a young Nigerian woman navigating the complexities of seeking international refuge in Ireland. Portraying the resilient Aisha Osagie, Wright captures the emotional journey of someone ensnared in the labyrinthine Irish immigration system. Amidst the uncertainty, Aisha finds solace and kinship with Conor Healy, played by Josh O’Connor, whom she encounters in one of the country’s accommodation centers. However, their budding friendship faces imminent peril as Aisha’s residency in Ireland hangs in the balance.
