Our guide, Lloyd, was so welcoming and gave us such wonderful insight into this incredible institution with several personal anecdotes that you won’t find in a book. It's packed full with local history. I'm not sure about the caveman that unnervingly popped up by my shoulder but stepping into this place was like being in a cave - discovering lots of interesting information as I explored the interior in greater detail.
It's tightly packed, despite being on two floors, and I was happy not to be distracted by other visitors. (BTW They also offer weekly 30-minute talks in the upstairs area.)
I'd suggest looking out for the Surrey Heath Museum, (from Boots, walking towards Park Street, it's on the left). It's definitely worth planning in a bit of time to visit properly. The range of shops, i think, is a good mix and not to loaded one way or the other.
The Mall is kept very clean and feels a good safe place to shop. The types of shops outside & around the Mall compliments the choice you have when shopping in Camberley.
I visited Card Factory, WHSmiths & Primark, relatively cheep parking prices help and it was easy getting around.

Loads of places to eat and a little soft play area for small children. We always visit with our grandson when we visit. We’d been recommended this place by friends and finally decided to go. After our visit, we were kicking ourselves for not going along sooner.
The rooms/toys/equipment catered for the various ages (1-5 years old). It was very clean and our troop did not want to leave when our alotted time was up.
Great value as well.

The only issue I say is the 30 minutes at the start was tough and had I known it was a long wait for the boys without having access to a party room so they could run about I would have suggested they arrive a bit later. Annemarie greeted me in a kind and professional manner and took the time to have a chat about how I could benefit which she didn't have to. Chloe was equally lovely and I have not got a bad word to say. Signed up for a membership before leaving the building. Thank you all. I will be back.
