I think my experience at Santiago Canyon College has been very good. The professors are amazing and super passionate about their subjects of interest making the learning very exciting.
Santiago Canyon College has some of the most amazing professors. They want their students to succeed and go on to great things. The professors in the science department are truly inspiring. Many of them are actively making discoveries and conducting research.
The campus of Santiago Canyon College is very nice. It is not too big and it is always clean. Many student events are held in the heart of the school each month. It is a safe space for people of all backgrounds, religions, sexual orientations, and disabilities.

It was fun and eventful. The teachers were sweet and the courses were not difficult. I enjoyed it a lot.
I am a first year student at Santiago Canyon College and so far I’ve had a good experience. I’m involved in clubs and student life and you can see me almost everyday day at school. I’m a student assistant at school and I love the experience. It’s all about asking questions!
Not bad, but it is super small and isolated. It is basically and entirely commuter campus, no food either.
I have taken online classes at Santiago for credits and have been on campus/around the area a couple times. The online classes are fairly easy to register for and is a very easy way to get credits for university. The registration process can be confusing on your own but with the help of my counselor it was a super easy and quick process. The online classes I have taken all had clear instructions, assignments, due dates, and lectures. It was as if taking an actual class with many resources provided (lecture videos, easy communication with professors, textbook). My favorite part is the intersession semester where classes are only about a month long and all though it seems challenging to fit a whole curriculum into a month the professor I had made it easy to keep up with video lectures and did his best to keep the workload simple yet engaging. The campus looks pretty when I have visited and the people I interacted with were all nice and helpful.
My experience at Santiago Canyon College is something I didn't expect. The staff and facilty are extremely helpful and willing to help their students. I have never had a problem try to reach my counselor and I feel comfortable speaking out for help.
My experience at Santiago Canyon College has been exceptional. The welcoming campus, dedicated professors, diverse academic programs, and emphasis on community involvement have enriched my college journey. SCC has not only provided me with knowledge but also personal growth and lasting connections.
Santiago Canyon College is a college intended for students that would like to transfer to a four year college or fulfill general education requirements. The teachers and counselors here are all passionate and willing to help with any difficulties I've had so far. The campus is well maintained and there are lots of resources here for not only my academic goals and needs, but also just basic living needs (like food, financial aid, work, etc.)
What I liked about Santiago Canyon College was the teachers. All of the teachers that I had were great and impactful. My favorite teacher who stood out to me the most and definitely made the biggest impact would be my anatomy/physiology teacher. Her passion for teaching that class was out of this world and you could really tell that she loved what she was doing. That is what makes a great teacher to be able to come up to them and talk without being scared and something that all teachers should have. I don't think I would like to see any changes. All were great about that school.
It was amazing, the staff were so helpful and really cared for our success. There were so many resources on campus for every subject, so I felt very supported in my education.
For the most part it was pretty average I was fresh out of high school really had no idea where to go It sort of became my college by default. One thing I really liked was how friendly all the professors were. I only ever had two incidences where the professors were absolutely unbearable. My experience was briefly interrupted as covid had started my first year, I had to completely get used to being online which eventually I became a pro at. Looking back I really wish I accepted the offer of help as I wasted a lot of time taking class not of general ed. One thing I'd like to see change is the personality of the school. It's a very concrete building and I feel more color needs to be added and unfortunately this school was built before the time of wifi so some buildings don't pick up wifi that well which should really be improved. For newbies I highly recommend the transfer center as they were tremendous help in getting me into University. Overall I'd recommend SCC.
Experience was great, they have multiple resources to help and guide through classes, transferring, and careers. They help through every step of the way. No regrets!
The professors at Santiago Canyon College truly care about the education you are receiving. Love to help students.
I liked how engaging the classes were even though they were online, we all interacted(the students). It was very good to see the different type of feminist classes, and programs that supported important causes like the red cross.
I love the availability of classes at Santiago and compared to other schools, there are many options to choose from.
It is a nice school. The faculty is kind and generally look out for you. It is a nice campus with decent facilities.
