I provided an email and watched the video (MUSIC2 Charlotte Palm Tree ad). You are required to spend around $300-$1,000 to hire a ghost-writer, narrator, and publishing service. You create a fake author-name, then you create the marketing tag words and outline and hope your How To, audio book attracts someone to purchase it. A ghost-writer provides the content using their own work. You are paid royalties if someone purchases your audible. Audible OKs this, because it provides thousands of new authors and titles, making it appear they have massive content (which they do). But the content is just re-arranged "canned" content.

It is legitimate and a scam. You can easily spend $1,000 and there is no guarantee that the book (which you did NOT write) sells. The company is flooding Audible with redundant marketing trash-book-content.

I was disrupted and did not purchase or agree to anything. The next day, the email I used has received 48 emails from "#FidelityLIFE# Confirmation 0822, and various Fidelity addresses. The company is immediately selling emails as marketing leads to other companies. I did NOT click on any opt-in or approve my info to be sold.

Selling your information is how the company makes their money. And by scamming people being lured into the audible creator program.

Are you referencing the audible creator program? Because that is real, but you'd have to have a rather large following to make money off of it.

What the OP is talking about is some advertisers between YouTube videos (apparently not affiliated with Audible or Amazon) telling how Audible is "the next thing" to make money as they flash on camera Audible-marked checks sent to them ranging from 1500 to 5000 dollars. Its possible that they found a way to "ponzi-scheme" the creator program but I can't suffer their commercials anyway so I don't have the full details.

If I have to see that tongue clicking pompous chick with too much eye shadow show me her three audible checks one more time ... omg- obnoxious ad and they always time them perfectly so RIGHT at the 5 second mark they SEEM to be getting to something good- the first 5 seconds you have to suffer thru before you can click on skip ads button are insufferable.

Edited

So I’m not the only one who cannot stand that annoying bitch lmao. Seriously tho like her voice, and the way she talks which conveys a completely empty cavity where her brain should be, are absolutely insufferable…………… “My boyfriend/husband showed me this app.

  • click * Its sooOoOOo easy likee

  • clickclick * Its called

  • click * Audible

  • click *. And you can actually make money with Audible-look. I knew nothing…. about online….business……and I…..could do it.”

Like Jesus Christ close your meat-hole ffs. Nails on a chalk board would be a SWEET RELEASE from her ear wrenching sounds she makes……😒

Not a scam. Just a promotion tool. So its really more for content creators who have a certain following

No the guy in the video/ads says you aren't the creator of the podcasts so I have no idea how you make money from other people's work legally. Sure sounds like a scam. "All you risk is 30 minutes of your time" to listen to his organizational meeting showing you the four easy steps to making all this money. yeah, right...been there done that and I'm still poor.

I think it is a scam. I just saw the commercial and the fact that she is making 1000 to 1500 a month and was able to quit her job and travel the world. Impressive. The only way I get to travel the world on 1000.00 is of someone (mom) is paying my bills and my food. But at $1000 a month, I would have to save for a few months before my vacation is going to take me to another country.
