Sprayberry High School Reviews
Rating 3.79 out of 5 510 reviews
I love attending Sprayberry. If you have a passion for a field, the teachers just make you fall more in love with it. I’m very passionate about social studies and history and you can tell these teachers are passionate about the subject by the way they talk about it and teach it. It makes you more passionate and just makes you fall in love with the subjects even more. I love how diverse and kind the student body is. I’ve been to a top rated Cobb charter school, Walton High School, and I didn’t feel like an outsider like how I did in Walton. There’s people from all backgrounds and we all learn from each other. You can find love and support as a new student and it’s easy to fit in. I love my AP classes. These teachers can make the most challenging classes seem easier by the way they teach. The work load isn’t unbearable and it’s not busy work. Overall i’m glad i came to this school and i am really excited for the new construction (we really needed the new building).
My favorite part about Sprayberry is the diversity. There are students and teachers of all different backgrounds and we have no problem being together. It is an example of what the world should be like when it comes to racial equality and integration. I also like the block schedule at Sprayberry because we only have four classes a semester. It takes off a little bit of the stress because we only have to focus on a few classes at a time. The worst part about Sprayberry is that there are no bathroom monitors, so the people that actually have to use the bathroom cannot because all the stalls are taken up by people who vape or people who just want to go in a stall to talk. Some people are inconsiderate because they do not think about the people who have to use the bathroom and the fact that they also want to get to class on time. If there was a female and male teacher to monitor both bathrooms during the class transitions, this would not be such an issue.
Transfer to Sprayberry High school for my last year of high school was rewarding. After worrying about how long the process will take and how hard it would be to get all my credits transferred, Sprayberry counselors made it so easy for me to get my credits in. They put me in my correct classes and if I needed a change, they did it quickly to make sure I am graduating on time. Being at Sprayberry allows you to have access to many different programs and opportunities to further your education while attending high school. These include advance placements, dual enrollment, honor classes, and many foreign language classes. The school culture is inspiring since the time I started going here. Teachers are always willing to help students which is why they offer things such as tutoring after school. My experience at Sprayberry is amazing and I have no complaints.
