Who Is Melia Kreiling? Meet the 'Emily in Paris' Season 3 Star

After one year of waiting, Emily in Paris Season 3 has landed on Netflix and for the show's third outing, the drama is bigger than ever.

Just like the first two seasons of the Emmy-nominated show, there are plenty of new faces stopping by in Paris and entering Emily Cooper's (played by Lily Collins) life—for better or for worse.

In Season 3, Greek artist Sofia, played by Melia Kreiling, is one of those new faces who, without intending to, turns Emily's world upside down and her arrival sparks a chain of events that could alter Emily's status quo.

One thing is for sure—audiences are loving the connection between Camille (Camille Razat) and Sofia and want to know more about Kreiling. Newsweek has everything you need to know.

Melia Kreiling is a Greek-American actress and dancer from Geneva. The daughter of an American father and Greek mother, Kreiling grew up in Athens, Greece.

Following graduation, Kreiling moved to the U.K. to study at the University of Winchester and the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds.

She also studied at the London School of Dramatic Art.

Audiences will most likely recognize Kreiling from her role as Bereet in Guardians of the Galaxy, starring alongside Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, and Bradley Cooper to name a few.

She is also well known for appearing as Bianca in the historical drama series, The Borgias, opposite Jeremy Irons, and for playing Bathsheba in the 2013 History Channel miniseries, The Bible.

From 2015–2016, she played the recurring role of Daliyah Al-Yazbek in the FX television series Tyrant, starring alongside Adam Rayner, Jennifer Finnigan, Ashraf Barhom, and Fares Fares.

She also starred in Season 2 of the CBS series Salvation as Alycia and Ginger Sweet in Filthy Rich.

Most recently, Kreiling appeared in the Prime Video black comedy Mammals in the lead role of Amandine.

In Mammals, Kreiling joins James Corden, Colin Morgan, and Sally Hawkins.

Ahead of the release of Emily in Paris Season 3, Kreiling took to Instagram to share her excitement about joining the new series. She posted a production still of her and Camille Razat on set and thanked her co-stars in a lengthy caption, calling her time on the show a "Parisian ride."

In Emily in Paris Season 3, Sofia is a Greek artist who showcases her work in Paris, with the help of Camille. After spending the week together, Sofia lets Camille know her true feelings and at the end of Episode 4, the pair finally shared a kiss.

As for what is in store for Camille and Sofia in Season 4, Kreiling has not given too much away. However, in conversation with Glamour, she said she is hopeful something would happen between Camille and Sofia.

She shared: "I haven't had conversations with anybody past this season. So this would just be me, sort of, answering on the spot here. But I think Sofia is in this really fun position where we leave her, where she doesn't have anything weighing her down and can pursue Camille—as long as Camille of course is open to it.

"But the way it ends, to me, seems like Sofia has managed to get a glimpse of Camille's inner workings in a way that might be giving her the encouragement to say something like, 'Well, I love Paris and I plan on being back here a lot.'

"Not in a stalker way, but in an 'I want to be around and see if this can be something' kind of way. And I think that's a pretty brave thing to do. It's not that easy to be that confident anymore with people. In my own dating life, it's not that easy to be like, 'Hey, I want you, and I'm going to try and make this happen.' So I really like that about Sofia and I hope that she acts on that a little bit and tries to show Camille that she's really special in her eyes, that she is beautiful."

Emily in Paris Season 3 is streaming on Netflix now.
