Former Penn State Safety King Mack Commits To Alabama
Former Penn State safety King Mack has committed to Alabama, he announced Friday. Mack reportedly entered the transfer portal on Thursday, May 2, along with a flurry of other Penn State players.
Mack spent one season with Penn State, appearing in all 13 games last season. He was one of few true freshmen to burn his redshirt. Mack was used mostly on special teams but recorded three total tackles and a quarterback hurry.
A 5’10,” 187-pound recruit from Miami, Florida, Mack was a four-star recruit in high school, according to 247Sports. He was listed as 247Sports’ No. 86-ranked player nationally, the No. 18-ranked player in Florida, and the No. 6 safety in the Class of 2023.
Mack became the second Penn State player from Thursday’s exit group to find a new home, after Malick Meiga committed to Coastal Carolina.
