Tenafly High School Reviews
Rating 3.96 out of 5 142 reviews
My high school experience has been a journey of growth and learning, both academically and personally. The best part of my high school years has been the supportive teachers and the diverse array of extracurricular activities that helped me explore my interests and build lifelong skills. However, the workload can sometimes be overwhelming, and the pressure to excel in every subject can be stressful. I would like to see a change in the way mental health resources are provided; a more robust support system could help students manage stress better. Overall, my time in high school has prepared me well for the future, but I believe more emphasis on student well-being would enhance our learning environment.
A good school with incredible teachers that truly care about their students, that has a diverse population with many different cultures.
Remarkable. If I had to describe Tenafly High School, it would be remarkable. The school itself is bland and boring, administration is above average, and the school spirit of my grade was non-existent, but what made Tenafly High School such a memorable and amazing experience were the teachers. These teachers are some of the best teachers I have ever had and as someone who believes teachers are the key ingredient to what allows students to thrive, I am still ever so thankful for all my teachers as Tenafly High School. These teachers are people who genuinely care about their students and seeing their students succeed. My freshman and sophomore French teacher, my freshman English teacher, my senior Physics teacher, and my junior Math teacher are some of the more notable ones that I recall who really pushed me to reach the highest potential I could. Not my parents, not the school, not my friends, but the teachers who were always there to push me to the next level.
