I have loved the teachers at BHS. They tend to be understanding, helpful, and fun in every aspect of their work. However when it comes to help outside of regular school work, like clubs, college readiness, etc, information is available but tends to be hard to find and understand. I felt like my time since coming to BHS has been a rollercoaster but the teachers and my family have help greatly along the way. I do wish however that more would be done to help students with planning rather than keeping a GPA.
I was a student at BHS from my freshman through my senior year and I honestly don't have any complaints about the school. The teachers were all really nice and helpful and very understanding of situations such as sports and personal issues. The school spirit is definitely there with good pep rallies and other events and the students go to most of the sporting events which is always fun!
Mostly, very positive. Few disappointing factors, such as lack of planning or lack of safety. But mostly, go elks!
