The program provides us with innumerous opportunities to learn and grow. We have a SIM center, cadaver anatomy lab and get to participate in "preclinical clerkships". They also help us become active in the community which increases our understanding of serving others who are less fortunate while also practicing our clinical skills. Courses in ethics and medical Spanish additionally help grow our cultural humility. Our professors are also very knowledgeable and compassionate, and we are taught by a number of guest lecturers from the surrounding Cleveland hospitals.
Fieldwork experience on top of classroom work helps deepen understanding and training. Great quality of staff members and interactions for students with all different backgrounds.
I haven't started yet, I move to Washington D.C. in May to start school. I've only met some of the faculty but they've all been extremely kind and helpful. I really felt like I clicked with them!
So far the program has just begun for me and everyone from the advisors, to the professors, to the housing staff, to the IT department has been nothing but kind and helpful. I was very overwhelmed with all of this new information and chapter of my life but now I'm honestly a little excited to see what's in store!
Be mindful of the costs of your program.
First semester in Doctorate program at case western university. Classes are online and so far advisor is super friendly and helpful.
Coming into Case Western as a grad student was pretty nerve wrecking for me but all faculty and staff I came across was more than helpful. They made me feel seen, heard, and understood while providing me with great academic support. So far I love the program.
There were many opportunities for interaction between students and faculty, as well as many opportunities to explore areas of study within the chemical engineering major. There were groups who participated in intercollegiate competitions. There were many group projects that offered opportunities to solve problems that are very similar to those that would be encountered in the workplace. The best part of my experience in the program was the opportunity to work with an actual company to design a new rector process for them. The worst part of my experience was trying to take a process control course online because the course did not translate very well into an exclusively online format (the online format was due to COVID).
Best - some really engaging professors, mostly good use of online platform
Worst - still a ways to go on social justice focus i.e. there are no land acknowledgements as a standard intro, quality of professor teaching ability varies greatly

There's not much I can say at this time as I haven't started my course load. But I know my views of Case would be biased. From application to admission, everyone has been so helpful. It is good to have someone to guide you as you move through the process.
My graduate program was very hands-on. There was not a day in which I wasn't engaged in the class discussions.
Completed MS in Medical Physiology program and found the overall experience very positive. The program was unique in that within a given course, each individual topic covered was taught by renowned experts in that specific area.
I completed a Masters program at Case Western, and they are by far the best university I have attended. This school is genuinely concerned about the success and wellbeing of its students. The professor are there to help you at all times (literally ) and even once you have graduated. They helped to propel my career and journey into medical school.I am forever grateful for the chance to attend Case.
Our professor highly focused on assigning our projects to have real-life insight into the topics discussed in class.
The overall academic experience in the program is very enriching, and I look forward to building stronger bonds with my professor, guest speakers, classmates, and staff.

The professors at Case Western Reserve University use their time to get to know students on a personal level and ensure understanding of the material instead of just memorization for exams and tests. The hands-on approach of the faculty combined with the flipped classroom model of some classes enhances the overall learning experience for a useful degree.
The administration is very unsupportive of students wellbeing and safety. Multiple students have been catcalled and harassed by employed workers at CWR.
Professors and TAs are very helpful and want the best for their students. I found my classes very engaging as well.
