Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have been married since 2019, share a one-year-old daughter together and are reportedly expecting their second baby.

Through the course of their relationship, we've seen the couple share hilarious TikTok videos together, including Turner grilling her husband during the Jonas Brothers Family Roast special.

But, in between the banter, Jonas, 32 and Turner, 26, keep their relationship and growing family under wraps, and in an interview with ET, the former opened up about protecting his family's private life.

Jonas, who in January, along with Turner, mimicked an iconic Keeping Up With The Kardashians moment via a TikTok video that went viral, said of the couple's lighthearted re-enactments: 'We do have fun with those, and I’m usually scrolling on my phone, and I do put them in my save list.'

He added: 'I’m like one eye open scrolling through TikTok. I’m like, "All right, I'll save this one. This is funny. This will be a good one."'

Speaking generally about TikTok, Jonas explained: 'I think it is a nice way to connect with my audience, but also have fun and do a face filter.'

As for his and Turner's private life, he spoke about being cautious of oversharing, saying: 'It's almost like in pandemic words, but like your bubble. You’re protecting your family, your friends and those around you.'

He added: 'It's really being decisive on what you want. You wanna be really protective over how much you wanna share in your personal life, and I feel like as artists, we get the opportunity to express our heart through our music, and so that’s where I’m personal and honest as I can be.'

Though he added: 'I don’t really try to hide too much, but I think it's about protecting what you keep close to your heart.

'I've sorta always been like that.

'But, I feel like in the last two years, you wanna take a little more time off.

'I'd say I love what I do, and I’m so grateful I get to do this every day and still perform and make music for a living, so I’ll take none of that away.

'But if I’m able to get home sooner, then I’m always a little happier.'

Jonas' latest Instagram video clip shows him seemingly trying to get Turner's attention while she's behind the wheel of her car.

This is before he wiggles, which Turner sees from her exterior mirror before goofily dances.

As for Turner, last November she shared a video clip of her walking down a fictional runway and blowing kisses at her one fan - Joe Jonas - which was made clear as she tagged him in her caption that read: 'What a crowd.'

When mocking her husband during the Jonas Brothers' family show last year, she poked fun at the famous brothers' eternity rings, saying: ‘Let’s talk about the purity rings.'

She went on to say: 'For those of you who don’t know purity rings are worn to demonstrate that you’re abstaining from sex before marriage, and the Jonas brothers, they had them, all of them.

'I think we need to set the record straight here. No, the rings weren’t a good idea. Yes, as a gesture they’re laughably, toe-curlingly lame. But remember this was about more than a gesture. This was about faith. This was about principle. This was about taking a stand and setting an example.'

Turner added: 'Look, Joe Jonas wasn’t just sticking his fingers in some dumb metal rings. He was sticking his fingers in co-stars, actresses, and even a supermodel or two.

She joked: 'Joe tried to find a match for his purity rings a few times, but finally, the finger fit me,' she joked. 'It was also like Cinderella because most of the girls he tried it with were under contract to Disney.'

Turner, who met Jonas in 2016 through mutual friends and got engaged to him a year later, also teased a potential romance with Kim Kardashian's boyfriend Pete Davidson.

She quipped: 'Joe, don't wait up — Pete Davidson slipped me his phone number.'
