Christopher Machamer

6-foot-1, 178-pound two-way prospect with big time potential. On the mound, the righty uses a quiet, repeatable delivery. He throws with quick arm speed through a high ¾ arm slot. His fastball has up run up to 92 and ran up to 90 mph on occasion. He also used a 70 mph breaking ball with gradual 11/5 break. He also showed a straight 72 mph changeup. In the field, he shows smooth, fluid actions. Takes good angles to the ball. Looks advanced for his age. Shows softness in his hands and a quick transfer. At the plate, he uses a balanced setup. Features a simple load with little wasted movement. Bat stays through the zone with uphill path. Truly hits the ball gap-to-gap. Surprising power at his age, which will only get better as he physically matures.

Adam Wolf

6-foot-5, 210-pound southpaw has cemented himself as the top left-handed pitcher in Ohio's class of 2015. Committed to Louisville. Three pitch mix. He throws with long arm action through a 3/4 arm slot. Obvious quickness in his arms. Good angle to his ball. Regular effort to his delivery. Sat 87-90 mph with good run to his ball. Mixed in a sharp 1/7 breaking ball coupled with a 77-80 mph fading changeup sold with good arm speed.

Chandler Day

Day gained experience pitching in front of scouts last summer when he attended the East Coast Pro Showcase as an underclassman and he seemed at ease at the Tournament of Stars, striking out seven and allowing just one unearned run on four hits and two walks over six innings pitched. He also hit two batters, but on nasty breaking balls down and in. Day sits 90-92 with his fastball and can get it down in the zone well at times. His slider has power and depth to it at 77-80, though he didn’t always finish the pitch. He has a very quick arm and maintains his arm speed on a swing-and-miss changeup that sits around 80 with good sink. He has a tall, lanky frame at 6-foot-4, 160 pounds and some effort to his delivery. He is verbally committed to Vanderbilt.

Ty Duvall

5-foot-10, 185-pound left-handed hitting catcher with solid build. Recognized as one of the top players for his age in the Midwest. Committed to Vanderbilt Behind the plate, he shows advanced skills. Uses short arm action. Quick feet with little wasted movement. Transfer is clean and repeatable. Stays low through his throws. Pop times ranged between 1.92-2.01. Reached an impressive top velocity of 83 mph from the crouch. At the plate, the left-handed hitter utilizes a strong lower half. Shows an advanced approach. Quick hands into the zone and the ability to hit to all fields. Registered a top exit velocity of 87 mph off the tee.

Sam Bordner

One of the top highlights for Friday at the World Wood Bat Championship was saved for the final game, Bordner squared off against Chet Lemon’s Juice. Pitching for the Kentucky Baseball Club, the hulking 6-foot-6, 220-pound Bordner established himself as a high-follow draft prospect with his performance. Bordner came out the gates hot, sitting 89-91 in the first inning, and topping at 92. In the second inning, the Louisville recruit worked at 89-90 before dipping a few ticks in the third and fourth innings. In the fifth inning, Bordner, was still pitching at 87-89. Early on, Bordner also flashed a solid 78-82 mph slider, to go along with a promising 81-83 mph changeup. In 4.2 innings, Bordner allowed two runs on three hits and four walks while striking out four.
