The Santurce Crab Eaters defended the Roberto Clemente Coliseum by crushing the Pirates of Quebradillas on Tuesday on another day of the National Superior Basketball (BSN).
With the victory, the crustacean squad added its third match in a row to improve its record to 7-6. On the other hand, the pirate team suffered its second consecutive setback to see its record fall to 8-11.
In the third match with the Santurcino team, their latest reinforcement Jared Sullinger recorded a double-double of 22 points and 18 rebounds to dominate the offense.
Walter Hodge Jr. followed with 17 points, six assists and three sacks. Santurce finished with six double figures.
In the defeat, Emmanuel Mudiay scored 22 points, all made in the first half, and added five rebounds. Tai Odiase contributed 12.
