Try to time your arrival with a ranger stroll at the visitor center and you will get a good overview of the area. Home to some of the original Vegas hotels with the pedestrian area home to live music, people dressed in amazing costumes. a zip line and an hourly light show. - Helsey20 contributionsWe pre booked our tickets (inc audio) whilst still in the UK. We booked the classic tour at a reduced price (start visit anytime between 9 - 11am).
We spent approx 4hrs going around the 4 floors of exhibits which was really informative about Las Vegas and the mob in general over the years.
Thankfully there was a great little cafe in the 2nd floor so we could recharge before continuing with our tour.
The staff were really friendly and engaging and we were fortunate that on the day we visited, there was a fantastic talk by a gentleman (Frank Calabrese Jnr) who explained about his family's involvement with the mob.

There is not much in the way of facilities around so make sure you pack water and snacks before you head there. - Alice KLake Mary, FL44 contributionsWe really enjoyed the Neon Museum Boneyard. There are signs with trivia about many of the neons and the history of the hotels. We took the self- guided tour but they have guided tours as well. We picked dusk to go, seeing as many of the neons are operational, it was the perfect time. There is seating if you want to sit with a bottle of soda and a snack from the gift shop. - Christine C58 contributionsWe went early evening on a Friday, just as the sun was setting. It wasn't extremely crowded, and the view is amazing. We got to watch the Bellagio fountain show from up top, and someone proposed (she said YES). My teenage kids wanted to go back down as soon as we got up there, but I'm glad they did it. Anyways what prompted me to visit the property was mgm’s tier matching proposal. So upon getting the players card I started wandering around the property and found many versions of bubble craps here with $3 minimum. Something I expected at downtown not on the strip. The machines are mostly the individual bubble craps they had multiple versions of crapless craps:easy craps, crapless craps, and the version where you select the two dice out of three choices.
