• Started five of 17 games played in 2023, and recorded 5.5 sacks. His 21.5 sacks rank fourth among players drafted in the 2020 NFL Draft.
• In 2022, tied for the team-lead (Uchenna Nwosu) with a career-high 9.5 sacks, including 6.5 sacks in his final six games, and tied career-high with 13 quarterback hits. His career-high four forced fumbles ranked tied for third in the NFL. Along with Nwosu, became the only pair of teammates to each record at least nine sacks and three forced fumbles.
• Tied for second on the team with 6.5 sacks in 2021. Posted 4.0 sacks in his first five career games to start the season.
• Spent the 2020 season on the non-football injury list.
COLLEGE: Finished Tennessee career with 19.5 sacks (10th-most in UT history), 26.5 tackles for loss and 118 total tackles in 43 games played with 22 starts. He finished tied for second in the SEC with 8.5 sacks in 2019 after totaling 8.0 sacks in 2018. Became the third Vol ever to have a four-sack game when he accomplished the feat against Kentucky in 2018 and also had a three-sack, two-forced-fumble game at Georgia and was named team MVP in 2018. Started all 13 games played his senior season and finished second in the SEC with a career-high 8.5 sacks as a team captain. Totaled 46 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, four passes defensed, six hurries, one fumble recovery and one forced fumble. Totaled 16.5 sacks over his final two seasons, starting 20 of 25 games played. Made starts at both defensive end and linebacker during his Volunteers career.
PERSONAL: Was a consensus four-star defensive end prospect and one of the top players in Virginia out of Hopewell High School. Earned second-team all-state honors as a defensive end as a senior in 2014 with totals of 60 tackles, 11 sacks and 19 tackles for loss. Also had 29 receptions for 356 yards and five touchdowns as a senior. Also played basketball in high school. Recipient of the Brady & Horne Athletic Endowment and Jack Brewer Athletic Scholarship Endowment. Majored in communications and graduated in December 2019.
