Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Kate L4 contributionsWe had a brilliant day at Beaulieu and there was something for everyone. The staff were really welcoming and friendly and so knowledgeable about the house and vehicles. The highlight was a trip in the chitty chitty bang bang car with our driver Sandy. We thought it was excellent value for money for a half hour ride, tour of beaulieu and lots of photo opportunities. The parade at the end of the day was also excellent as was little beaulieu. Also a shout out to the 2 ladies working in the kitchen, they were lovely and really engaging.Written 2 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BluebellplasnewyddCardiff, UK1,974 contributionsIt is impossible to sum up the New Forest in a single review. It consists of miles of centuries old dense forest and open areas with dry walks and boggy landscapes. You can drive through to gain a sense of the size or walk on tracks that go on for miles. You will mainly be alone apart from the wildlife but occasionally interrupted by school trekking parties and bikes. If you chose a walk at dusk you will be rewarded by seeing deer and ponies. The towns and villages are quaint with plenty to see and do but get extremely busy in the summer with difficulty parking. Prices fo everything are not cheap! Overall suitable for dropping in if you are in the area or a more prolonged stay.Written 20 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Stephanie B6 contributionsFantastic time toay at Moors Valley. We only had the morning but could easily have filled up several days with all the activities available! The play trail in particular is something really special - the final installation took my breath away. - Dawn O2 contributionsLoved it here -
Gorgeous grounds, lots to explore, with a cute little shop, great cafe with friendly staff, fresh food, and plenty of options for all dietary requirements. All for a good cause too.
I wish we lived nearby as would come here often.Written 24 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Plenty of parking and Gardeners world 2 for 1 card may be used.Written 31 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - James DBransgore, UK17 contributionsVery good value for money. Not a huge site but the play areas were very good and almost worth just visiting them! Mainly otters, owls and deer but we managed to see all the animals except the lynx! Food was priced ok as two ice creams cost £5 but the gift shop soft toys were expensive. Overall a good day out for under 12s.Written 29 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- OnlythebestwilldopleaseWool, UK109 contributionsHad a decent day out for the price but think the place is aimed at 8 years & below tbh
I went with my friend & his 3 year old so perfect day of feeding/Holding onto the animals..
They have calves,baby chicks,Ducklings,Guinea pigs,Piglets when we visited.as well as a Shire horse,Donkeys & geese..
Went on the tractor Ride around the field but feel they need to put possibly the Horses,Donkeys in this field so you have something to see rather than an empty field.. (Not a complaint just an idea)Written 27 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Is was incredible to be able to participate in flying and feeding the raptors. The park is in a stunning location, there is a pristine, well run cafe on site and all staff are friendly and welcoming. I would thoroughly recommend this experience as a unique and special gift.Written 12 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Harry WBracknell, UK26 contributionsHad a really nice walk/hike here but unfortunately didn't see a single deer which we were surprised about considering it's a deer sanctuary! Great hikes available though with some really huge, impressive trees. Parking facilities are good with plenty of spaces.Written 8 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- ross p4 contributionsWe are lucky to have the New Forest on our doorstep. We walk and cycle here regularly. This week we walked south from Beaulieu Road station and looped back past Ferny Croft and Yew Tree Heath. We saw around 20 species of birds including Redstart and Crossbill.
The Forest is a wonderful place to visit with good paths and free car parks. Wherever you go you can be away from the crowds and in peaceful countryside. There are lots of good cafes and eateries to stop at after a long walk.Written 20 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Discover001966220802 contributionsGreat fun in New Forest! We saw Mr McGregor and Maisy, both very well behaved. The place is child friendly and you can see some hens, alpacas and sheep as well. Jean was so lovely and provided us with lots of information. I can also add great communication during the booking process. - LadyRoughDiamond60 contributionsA really enjoyable couple of hours wandering the marshes where we saw a variety of wading birds and ducks easily with standard binoculars including Sanderlings, Oyster catchers, Turnstones, Avocets, Pochard. As always a number dogs running off the lead ahead of their owners despite the polite signage asking for dogs to be kept alongside.Written 15 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
