Dr. Curtin Promoted to Professor of Surgery

Dr. Catherine Curtin has been promoted to professor of surgery. Dr. Curtin has been with Stanford's Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for more than 10 years. Her clinical focus is peripheral nerve surgery and upper limb reconstruction.
"Dr. Curtin has it all - Chief of Hand Surgery at the VA, world-expert in pain and peripheral nerve surgery, Hand Fellowship Director, Medical Student Clerkship Director, and a funded health-services researcher," wrote Division Chief Dr. James Chang in an announcement to the faculty. "She is a role model for all of us: kind, hard-working, and brilliant."
