She was predeceased by : her father Stanley Dicks. She is survived by : her mother Maude Dicks; her husband William "Bill" Thompson; her daughters, Pamala Thompson (Scott Kraus) of Florida, Michelle Thompson (Matt Tertel) of Michigan and Jennifer Vontell (Jesse) of Ohio; and her siblings, Donna Power, Alvina Ryan (Leo), Ron Dicks (Melda) and Ken Dicks (Laura). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dovin Funeral & Cremation Specialists (2701 Elyria Ave, Lorain, OH 44055). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM and on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, she asked that a donation be made to the Church of the Redeemer in Lorain for their community meal and other programs.
