Diversity, and accommodation arrangement!The terms are too heavy at Knox, but the work load does not decrease ,so you’re easily drained. Also there are limited courses offered at Knox, which means a lot of students transfer after their freshmen year, or take a term off to go fulfill their credits somewhere else.
Strong English and Psychology program. Not a best college for CS. Cafeteria food has gotten better significantly during a last few years (even compared to big university). There should be an upgrade in campus food grade. Some students act like high schoolers which makes me frustrated (I do not think it is the only problem at Knox though). Politically it is extreme left within campus but politically right outside the campus (Galesburg town itself). Definitely international students & LGBTQ+ friendly campus. You must actively seek your own group or campus activities if you want yo adjust fast. However, I love professors and academics so far. Seek your academic chance actively, then you will earn what you want (tmi: Professors in education department are so sweet!!). If you love city life, this campus may not be ideal. But as time goes, you may like the town's quietness.
Knox has been a great experience for me, and I am incredibly thankful that I came to this school. The people here are so nice, and you form great relationships with all of your professors because of the small class sizes. The housing on campus isn't that great, but it could be worse. There is little to no party culture, and if you want to watch fun sport games somewhere else might be better.
