Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Catherine S6 contributionsWe brought our teenage grandchildren on a very wet day in the Easter holidays. The museum was very busy. Our 14 year old was a bit embarrassed at first because she felt ‘too old’ for the museum. It’s definitely set up for younger children - we wish we’d discovered it years ago when ours were little.
We all found the story of Harry Baker and the history of chlorine interesting. Maybe future development could be aimed at older teenagers.Written 7 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jaffajohn2017Liverpool, UK31 contributionsAs Garden Centres go, this is just a Garden Centre, but it is extremely well stocked with extremely good quality plants, nicely displayed. The range is considerable, the prices very reasonable (I don't want to use the word "cheap", but the prices are generally noticeably cheaper than those in very many, especially the big-name, Garden centres. Being a regular member costs you nothing and gives you some substantial member discounts. If you are lucky enough to catch one of their very knowledgeable Centre assistants, you can get most of your questions helpfully answered.Written 3 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - opinion1952Liverpool, UK118 contributionsNot somewhere you would visit unless interested in Trains but a great example of the old style stations. Very clean generally. It is claimed that Paul Simon wrote 'Homewardbound' while waiting at htis station in his very early folk club days.Written 7 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
