Great place. Local artists are featured. They reach out to the young artists in the community and showcase their artworks. The prices are fair. This is a good place if you are shopping for that one-of-a-kind gift.

Was looking for food but they sell snacks and the beer is decent. Cheddar & regular made pretzels with your beer. The whole street is full of great places to shop, eat , etc. Good vibe, families out, sit in or out. The story about the name is funny too - just look in the window.

The shop has an amazing children's department with clothing, books, puppets etc.
Not to mention items perfect for a hostess or housewarming gift . They also have a bridal and baby registry as their items would make perfect shower and wedding gifts as well.

They also carry hand made artisan items including Jewelry

excellent customer assistance, they even have videos that explains the products if the volunteers are busy, what a nice touch.

on another note, this shop is run by volunteers and profits are donated to local Berks county charities.

All of the above make this the perfect place to shop for yourself or for gifts.

First let me say - these are solid games. If you are new to games - sure, go here. However, Encrypted came up several times in enthusiast discussions and it just didn't live up to my expectations as a "destination game."

Biker's revenge - 3/5. Their oldest and worst game. It's been a while since I've been this frustrated in a game. The scene is great. The first half of the game was going well. Then the second half quickly fell apart and didn't flow as well. There is one particular puzzle that was terrible (and dated) and really turned me off from the whole rest of the game.

Vikings 4/5. A fine game. Nothing earth shattering - but solid game. Made sense and had continuity. One puzzle could become a major time suck - but it was a unique time suck - so it was still interesting.

Vampire 5/5. Fun for small jump scare. Well put together and the clues flowed better in here. Used "lights" to direct your attention to where you should focus - which was a unique and cool element I had not experienced before.

Again - if you are in the area go for it - but I don't think it is worth driving from KOP to get to as a "destination" worthy game.

Friendly staff helped me pick out gently used women’s fashions plus decor for my home. Located in nice early 20th Century home.

We visit this place off and on all year round. Sometimes by myself, sometimes with my daughters. The customer service is ok, the people working there are friendly enough, but I get what I need and leave. I'm not there for a social call. I know others are more into that kind of a thing... however, they do have a great collection of all kinds of various things. They are pretty kid friendly and are fun.

Look this is a Girls place, I knew that when we went in. But, my wife loved it. I almost had to drag her out. She found really cool soaps. Bottles to put stuff in to apply stuff. The prices seem fair but we left before I could not carry any more. It was fun and I like to see my wife have fun.

Usually the word “boutique” has me backing away, as in: “This is far out your budget and ranges from sizes xxs to xs… run!” That’s not what Allison’s is at all though. The items range beyond clothes (handmade by the shop owner and inclusive of plus sizes) to handmade candles, incense, jewelry, hats… all sorts of bits and bobs. There’s a wide selection of gemstones, all fairly priced, based on my collecting experience. There are hilarious, snarky, nsfw mugs I always want to buy. Most of all, the vibe is chill and fun. The eclectic music playing will make you want to groove. And the empowering signs and posters as well as handwritten love notes from Miss A herself make it feel like a safe and welcoming space. This definitely redefined “boutique” for me, in the most positive way.

Great social club, cheap drinks, friendly bartenders, good people. My only complaint is the smell of 30 years of stale cigarette smoke, especially when it lingers on your clothing after you leave :(
