Dua Lipa dominated the 2024 Academy of Country Music Awards at The Ford Center at The Star on Thursday night (May 16), and she looked so chic while doing so.
The 28-year-old Radical Optimism hitmaker made a surprise appearance to perform a duet with Chris Stapleton at the event, which took place in Frisco, Texas.
While onstage, she wowed in a sheer dress. Dua changed into a second look before heading back to the press room.

Dua Lipa surprised the audience at the 2024 Academy of Country Music Awards held at Ford Center at The Star on Thursday (May 16) in Frisco, Texas.
The 28-year-old “Training Season” singer joined Chris Stapleton on stage for a surprise duet of a new song!
According to Billboard, sources in attendance at the show say they plan to “release the collaboration very soon.”
“Perhaps we needed time to listen to our hearts,” Dua sang on the stage. “And there you are. We’ve come so far together. You are the power over me. You are the light I wanna see.”
The duo’s new collab will reportedly drop THIS Friday (May 17)!
That night, Chris was nominated for several awards – Entertainer of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, Album of the Year and Artist-Songwriter of the Year.
At the time of this post, Chris did pick up Album of the Year for his LP Higher, as well as Male Artist of the Year and Artist-Songwriter of the Year. Congratulations!!

Dua Lipa joined Salma Hayek Pinault, Paul Mescal, Andrew Scott, and Solange Knowles at the Gucci Cruise 2025 Fashion Show on Monday (May 13) held at Tate Modern in London, England.
Sabato De Sarno, the Creative Director at Gucci, shared a press release about the new collection: “To explore a creative direction is to bring yourself into an already-existing space and show it through your eyes, working from room to room with the goal of reshaping the building again. We choose London for the Cruise show, knowing that was the right choice. I owe a lot to this city, it has welcomed and listened to me. The same is true for Gucci, whose founder was inspired by his experience there.”

Dua came dressed in a custom Marc Jacobs look alongside the designer himself, wearing black lace with corsetry and sheer detailing, along with a feather boa.
She accessorized with High Jewelry pieces from Tiffany & Co, via Vogue. This is her third time attending the event.
This year, the Met Gala will celebrate the Costume Institute’s exhibition titled “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.” The official dress code is “The Garden of Time,” inspired by J.G. Ballard‘s short story written in the 1960s. Alongside Vogue‘s Anna Wintour, the celebrity co-chairs include Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny and Chris Hemsworth. In addition, Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson and TikTok CEO Shou Chew are acting as honorary co-chairs.
