St. Benedict’s Preparatory School is an all boys Christian school that was established in 1868. It is located in Newark, NJ. The school focuses their teaching around leadership and a group system. The boys are separated into 18 different groups.

Each group is named under St. Benedict’s alumnus. The boys stay in those groups the entire time they are at the school.

There are many sports that the students can join. Those would include basketball, soccer, swimming, tennis, and many others. The biggest focus at St. Benedict’s Preparatory School are their academics.

They have college prep classes as well to get the young men ready to further their education. This school has an 11 month school year session that is broke up into four phases. There is also a backpacking project that is done for the Freshman.
