Great Valley High School Reviews
Rating 3.86 out of 5 175 reviews
My past four years at Great Valley High School I feel as though I am ready to further my education. Teachers lecture, but they also give hands on experiences and materials to all students. All students here here given equal opportunity to trips, projects, and learning. It is easy to be involved with the school and there are hundreds of clubs to join. I feel as though Great Valley is a top tier high school for students, and the education is great.
Best parts of the school experience is the wide variety of electives offered, almost every AP class is offered giving chance to get as many credits as possible. The worst is the somewhat lack of teaching from teachers in some classes.
I have gone to Great Valley since the 5th grade, and I have overall enjoyed it. In my high school experience, I have built and cultivated many relationships with my teachers and peers. I have consistently felt supported in my educational path, and my classes feel both important and as though they are preparing me for post graduate success. However, I also felt that this only worked for me because I worked hard as an individual and was dedicated to my success. I have seen many of my peers and friends get lost in the system because they did not have the same ability to build those relationships, and they were never reached out to. Although I enjoyed my school experience and I felt supported, I was consistently aware that many of peers felt differently. Compared to other schools, I felt that I was prepared to be successful, but that my school did not do all that it could do to make students feel that way.
