Tuition & Affordability - The Blake School

Tuition & Affordability

We believe all qualified students should have access to the unique educational opportunities at Blake, and our need-based financial assistance program helps make Blake affordable.

Blake believes that to be an exceptional school, we must enroll students with diverse backgrounds and lived experiences, including talented and motivated students from families who cannot afford to pay full tuition at Blake. We believe our diversity enriches every member of the Blake school community. To that end, Blake is committed to making sure tuition is affordable for qualified students through a need-based financial assistance program that offers more than $8.5 million in support each year to more than 300 students.

See Tuition & Fees, below, for details about tuition and fees within each division. Visit our Financial Assistance page for information about financial assistance.

Please note that standard amounts listed for each division include tuition and lunch costs. For an additional fee, we provide the following optional services: afternoon pre-kindergarten, Friday afternoon kindergarten and Extended Day (pre-kindergarten through grade five). Families who receive financial assistance receive assistance for these additional costs.

Families who receive financial assistance may be able to receive assistance for transportation too. Busing and shuttle services are also available for an additional fee. Find details on our Transportation page.

As you contemplate Blake's tuition and fee structure, we hope you'll consider the value of investing in an outstanding education. We welcome the opportunity to partner with you to make this belief a reality. Please call 952-988-3422 and ask to speak to our Director of Admissions and Financial Assistance today.

It's important to note that all of our financial assistance awards are based on demonstrated need — the calculated difference between the amount a family can be expected to contribute to the cost of their student's education and the amount of annual tuition, books and fees.
