Hubbard’s Hills was gifted to the people of Louth and is managed by Hubbard’s Hills Trust.
The Trust is dedicated to the restoration of the site. The Hills form a picturesque valley which the River Lud flows through. This route follows the line of the river along the valley floor. A valley with magnificent trees and a winding chalk stream river rich in biodiversity.
There are two entrances for Hubbard's Hills:
The north entrance, which is located along Crowtree Lane
The south entrance, which is located along Halfpenny Lane
The north entrance car park consists of compacted stone with loose stones. It is on a slope and a charge applies.
The south entrance car park is tarmacked and level. There is no charge for this car park.
The path surfaces are mostly tarmac or concrete. The route is mostly level with some slopes.
