- lizakqNaguabo1,615 contributionsIt's been a while since I've visited this garden during the day; this review is regarding the halloween event they host there. I have gone to different haunted houses/ events here in P.R. and in the USA and I have to say that this one really exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail was very good, plenty of scares and duration very satisfying. Overall it's worth every penny. However I would recommend upgrading your ticket so you don't have to wait in line, for me that was the only tedious part of my experience. Keep in mind that when you purchase your ticket you will choose an hour of entry but it's very unlikely that you'll be going in at that time. Lines are long, the reason being they send people in small groups which enhances the experience but therefore you'll wait will be longer.Written November 17, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Yelixa CCaguas, Puerto Rico60 contributionsEither running around in their bikes, scooters, skateboard, hoover board, roller skates or on their foot they enjoyed the space available to do so. If you cant take any with you, no worries, there's a free of charge Merry Go Round, and sometimes on Friday nights a movie is displayed under the stars. Pop corn, "pinchos", "piñas coladas", and other delicious "frituras" are available to buy from local kiosks.Written February 19, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - William W1 contributionUrbe Apie is a street blocked from the use of cars that until recently was a bit drab. Luckily the revolutuonary youth of the town have cleaned, painted, built a large garden, started and art gallery, thrift shop, sleeping areas for travellers, social lunches and dinners, workshops, a magic shop, etc. They also have strick a deal with the city to waive any fees for outdoor vending so know a farmers/flea market has started once a week too. We had visited 2 years ago and thought it has a lot of potential, now we see that the crews have really made progress! Also there are many more vacant buildings on the street beckoning for more great/gifted people to clean thier insides and start thier dreams within a growong community of wonderful individuals who care about thier home and the planet! Have fun, and when you visit the art gallery introduce yourself to the professor of cocunuts Brandon!Written January 1, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RusPat_704San Juan, Puerto Rico895 contributionsThis museum is in a house around the corner from the visitor center. You must go here for the presentation by the guide. She tells you about the development of the music and instruments. Be warned the door will be locked, but knock on the door and she will greet you. Well worth your time.Written September 16, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
