Thank you to everyone for making the Stage Show a huge success: dancers, parents, administration, teachers, and all those who came to watch! It has proven to be a wonderful season with 10 competitions with two CADTD State Champions and two Miss Drill National Champions!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE AHS ACADEC DECATHLON TEAM FOR PLACING 3RD IN THE STATE!!!

Congratulations to the AHS Decalthon Team for placing third in California!!! This is the first time - and the highest - that a school from the Alhambra Unified School District has placed this high!!! Congratulations to Mr. Jose Sanchez and the entire Acadec Decathlon Team! We are so proud of everyone!!!

If you lost a sweat shirt, water bottle, binder, keys or any other item, please stop by the lost and found area in the Student Support Services office in C122. Items will be donated at the end of each semester.

March 18th LCAP Meeting - IN PERSON MEETING

Our next Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) meeting will be IN PERSON and held at the District Office on March 18th, 2024, beginning at 6:00pm. (Please note that this is a revised start time to what was shared in the last AUSD Connections Newsletter.) This meeting will be an interactive opportunity for you to provide input and feedback on the 2024-2024 LCAP Plan. IMPORTANT INFO REGARDING TRANSCRIPT ORDERING!

For seniors who wish to order high school transcripts, please submit your requests for final transcripts on the AHSMoors.org website (bottom, right hand side). Under “Special Instructions” please indicate if you would like the transcripts to be sent electronically, mailed (to colleges only) or picked up in person from the Counseling Office. You can submit one request for all your transcripts. Please remember only five requests per school year are free. Beyond that, there’s a charge ($2 per transcript + $4 service fee per request). All final transcript requests will be processed by July 1, 2023 and a confirmation email will be sent to you. As a reminder please use your personal email.

CLASS OF 1974 REUNION!

The AHS Class of 1974 50th Reunion will be on September 15th, 2024 from 12:00-4:00pm at Almansor Park (700 S. Almansor St., Alhambra). We are also planning a 4 night cruise on Royal Caribbean out of Los Angeles on 9/16/24-9/20/24. We are also planning 7 night cruise Hawaiian Cruise on Norwegian Cruise Line on 9/7/24-9/14/24. New College & Career Center Hours: 7:45am - 4:15pm

Cal State LA Student Ambassador, Paddy Lin will be stationed at the College & Career Center/Library on Mondays from 8am to 1pm. If you would like to book Paddy to come speak to your class about Cal State LA or CSU system in general, you will be able to do that with this link. Students will also be able to make an appointment with him using the same link.

Financial Aid Fridays: 2:00pm - 4:00pm at the College and Career Center
