Drew Bledsoe was one of many people who took the stage at Netflix's "The Roast of Tom Brady" Sunday night.

One of Bledsoe's most notable jokes mocked Brady's divorce from model Gisele Bundchen in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage.

"Two things I've experienced that you never will, Tom. Being drafted as 1st pick in the Draft and celebrating a 28th wedding anniversary. That was yesterday, Happy anniversary, babe," Bledsoe said.

On "The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz" Monday, Bledsoe revealed that his wife Maura actually wrote the barb.

“My brother, one of the funniest humans I know, he helped out and then — I’m going to get in really, really big trouble for this, but I’m willing to wear it, the Gisele joke, that actually came from my wife. Don’t tell her I told you,” Bledsoe said. "But the truth is, it was a replacement for a joke that I had written that was far worse. She said 'No, you can't do that one' and then helped me right a little more of a softball."

We can only imagine what Bledsoe's original joke was. In the clip, he is adamant to Le Batard that he can't reveal its content.

Bledsoe was not the only person to take aim at his former teammate's broken marriage. According to a report from PEOPLE.com, Bundchen was upset by the amount of material regarding the divorce.

"A source tells PEOPLE that the model, 43, is 'deeply disappointed by the disrespectful portrayal of her family on Sunday evening's roast show,'" Charna Flam and Charlotte Triggs wrote
