We had an amazing stay. We set a lot of places for basketball league and this was by far the best. The staff was friendly and professional, we thought the food was delicious. We loved our accommodations. Everything was comfortable and clean. No complaints no issues we like that we could park next to the hotel instead of the other areas downtown Columbus where you have to have valet. The second you walk into the hotel you are greeted with a friendly smile and the staff is very welcoming, we like everything to be clean and that is exactly what we expected and we received. Compared to other hotels there was very little noise and we slept soundly. Will stay here again, 100%.

Convenient location on Olentangy River Road if you have a family member at Ohio Health Riverside Methodist Hospital. Motel only a half mile away.
Had a delicious hot breakfast made to order for only $10.95
Rooms were clean and a good nights sleep can be enjoyed.

The location was far easier to access & depart from than I first thought it would be. Parking is arranged quite well. The lobby and room have a modern look and feel without doing the currently trendy dorm-style aesthetic. The overall size of my room was excellent for a single traveler or couple with plenty of conveniently placed outlets (standard and usb) The meeting/dinning area surrounding the lobby is spacious. My only possible issue is the small size of their workout room with limited treadmills and elliptical units (3 and 1). The day I waited until 6:45 to work out had a line for machine use.
Overall I would give it a high 4.5. Fix the limited exercise room and its a solid 5.

Check-in was mishandled, original room did not have a clean seal on it so we requested a different room and ended up being charged for it. My kids were originally denied they’re breakfast that was included, we ended up having to go downstairs to rectify that. The pillows were non existent way too soft and airy. And when I did try to clear up the 9 different room charges on my credit card for one night the “manager” and employee he had to handle the issue weren’t very friendly they we’re actually kinda rude. It wasn’t until a third employee I believe her name was Elise showed up and she handled it much better. The other woman barely made eye contact and ignored basically everything I was saying. Never would stay at a Hilton again. And I’m still waiting for one of the refunds so let’s see how that goes

Picked this hotel just for the pool for kids to swim for thanksgiving and go to cosi. It’s just start to finish it wasn’t the best hotel. Haha. Why when i pick a room on my app and request digital key there is always some issue with it. The front desk guy says, “that room hasn’t been cleaned yet”. So he gave me another room, ok. But the pool was freeeezing. When i asked him about heated pool, it was like he had this speech ready to go because of how many times someone else has complained about it. Like, it was uncomfortable cold. And no moving water in it, so how was it being heated exactly? I slept horribly. The window blinds are these weird track blinds someone must have gotten it stuck cuz there was always light coming in. But i slept horrible cuz my

It's hard to assess this hotel given that our stay was over the OSU graduation weekend, so I can forgive the that the restaurant was swamped with patrons on Sunday morning despite the best efforts of the staff. In fact, the staff was very friendly and helpful all the time. The location was not far from the university facilities, and the place was clean, except for the windows outside our room, which was on the second floor overlooking the huge exhaust fans. When a hotel doubles its rate due to a big event in town, one ought to expect a little something extra; one shouldn't have to make a special request for housekeeping. I can't say anything extra was delivered this time. Thus, the "average" rating.

I'm sorry you got the room that overlooked the roof units for this stay and that the windows outside your room were dirty. Daily housekeeping service has not been available for a couple years now. It is available upon request or every 4th day of your stay. My aplogies if that wasn't made clear for you. I'm glad the staff and service you received was a bright spot in your stay with us. Enjoyed my brief one night stay. The room was very comfortable, clean, quiet, modern large room with king size bed on the 5th floor. Peaceful. I used my mobile application to reserve it, selected my own room and used the mobile key.

This hotel was following Covid protocols. It was very nice, clean and organized. The personnel were very kind, nice and professional.
We checked in later in the evening and the front desk associate made sure we placed a food order so we wouldn’t miss the cut off.
I appreciated the box breakfast in the morning. It was just right.

I travel to Columbus at least for one overnight stay monthly. I try various hotels but never found one I go back to regularly until my stay at Hilton Garden Inn Columbus - University Area. This is now my monthly business trip hotel. I certainly will bring my family here also when visiting Columbus. The hotel is immaculate with all the usual great amenities. The service at the restaurant is excellent. The lady that prepared my food is such a welcoming ambassador. Food is great and customer service is top notch. The young man at the reception desk couldn't do enough to make sure I had everything I needed and even came around to the hall when he saw me drop my bag. I completely recommend staying here. I came in with a very critical eye since I just experienced my worst hotel experience two weeks prior. Needless to say, it is a great relief to have an 180 degree different experience.

The location is great! and vicinity is safe with people\guests walking. Beds are comfortable (unless your height is on the tall side 6' +). Room Service is available if hungry and there is a fitness room, an indoor pool, and a small office room. Rooms have a microwave, refrigerator (that worked well), and 1-cup coffeemaker. Safes are not in rooms so check with front desk to lockup valuables. Rooms are a little small and we thought the price was a little steep.
