- Ruth OStratford-upon-Avon, United Kingdom5 contributionsThis is my second visit with my daughter, but we were unable to
visit the house first time round as the tours were fully taken .
our tour of the house did not disappoint , as it is a beautiful,
historic home filled with treasures. My only comment being that the
lengthy information given by the guides took up so much time that
we were almost unable to look at fully or admire the lovely items
on display in each room. Apart from this, we enjoyed our visit .
We are rather fond of the lovely cattle grazing in the grounds.
Also the tearoom had an amazing choice of cakes, and all staff
we’re very pleasant.Written July 1, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - chris m9 contributionsWent to see Scrooge never been to a small theatre, will definitely return.

It's still a lovely little area of woodland but anyone wanting to take their children to see Peter Rabbit's Post Office etc will be disappointed as very few of the homes are there now. Such a shame because they were magical. Still plenty of logs to build your own den.Written January 9, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It also may not be the longest with the 1 par 5 on the nine hole but if you miss the fair way you are in trouble. It is like a links course but between the trees.
Great greens with lots of borrow to keep them interesting. See if you can play with a member as they can help you around. Members are friendly so ask. You can get a tee time almost anytime. Nice old wooden club house. Green fees are reasonable. Would have given a 5 if it had been an 18 hole.Written November 7, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I shall be attending more of Katharine's classes, and highly recommend the Quince House Cookery School.Written May 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I had couple of pints but the atmosphere and camaraderie within whilst there was great. Definitely go back next time I'm in area.Written December 1, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Miranda C2 contributionsI swim at the pool every week because it’s got plenty of natural light but it’s really gone down hill. The floors around the changing area are so filthy - used plasters, hair and dirt everywhere, despite the fact that people always remove their shoes beforehand. It seems it never gets cleaned. The cubicle walls need a good scrub too. There are a limited number of locker keys and some of them don’t work. The attendant told me that people take them home - what for? You get your £1 back.
Slightly better if you swim at times other than weekends.Written April 29, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
