This hotel has an excellent General Manager named David and his staff members are the best! Everyone’s very warm and friendly and they go above and beyond the norms to ensure that you’re comfortable and happy. My 2 queen suite was very clean, quiet, beautifully decorated and so unbelievably spacious that it felt like home almost immediately. The location of this property is perfect because it’s tucked away off of a busy street giving it residential comfort but within a minute walk to a store and surrounded by restaurants and shopping and right off of the highway. Excellent choice 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

We had a great time with family to celebrate a belated Christmas. As always the hotel staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The hot breakfast is always a plus. There are so many healthy options and you aren't just limited to a couple cereals and oatmeal. The pool area was well ventilated which meant I could enjoy my family without having any difficulties with chlorine in the air. It would have been nice to have rooms by my family; but, it didn't deter from our experience at all.

My fiancé and I stayed here on April 26 through May 1 2021. This hotel does offer a digital key, open swimming pool (must reserve) and a decent grab and go breakfast. Our room was very nice although when I first walked in wall tile came loose and fell over. The room itself was setup nicely with a long desk, cozy feel and updated usb ports and plug ins on the dresser next to the bed. The tv swivels out from the wall and makes tv watching not the greatest. The bathroom is separate from the double sinks with the shower having good water pressure and a bathroom exhaust fan. I did notice a few guests not adhering to the mask policy. The hotel offers disinfecting wipes and hand sanitizer on both the first and third floors.
. I was displeased with the front desk at night. We were promised a delivery of toilet tissue that never showed up. Checking out was easy with the price correct. The area offers fuel, food and shopping and Interstate access nearby. Overall this is a good hotel and would stay here again. Just note that the customer service especially at night is lacking.

The whole process of booking the room was weird because it took about 4 hours to get an email confirmation and it looked like a private email written from a young girl to her friend with a “here’s your confirmation number” sentence. In the meantime we tried to call and they didn’t answer the phone for 3 or 4 hours.
When we checked out the pool and fitness area we noticed kids in bare feet and wet bathing suits on the treadmill. We mentioned it to the front desk and when we came back later there were other kids on the treadmill and other equipment in wet bathing suits so obviously nothing was done!
Now talk about room cleanliness and it was obvious that the room was not vacuumed and the bathroom floor was not mopped - if you will look at my photos. I also wondered if the bathroom was cleaned at all! Pretty disgusting if you ask me - especially during these Covid days!! TV remote in a plastic bag - does that really mean anything?
Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else!

Upkeep and cleanliness are very important to us, and we want our guests to have a top-notch stay with us. Our room service team is generally very attentive to guests’ needs and we prepare the room thoroughly for upcoming guests. This is very unlike us. My fiancé and I stayed here on September 17-18 2021. I have stayed here before and the rooms are clean, quiet and located near restaurants and shopping. I noticed as we entered our room only two pillows on the left side of the bed. I didn't think anything about it as we had a very busy day. We stayed the night without incident, checked out in the morning and proceeded on our way. I noticed a day or so later on the Hilton app a charge of $30.00 for two pillows. I called the hotel and was directed to housekeeping where I left a message. I then called Hilton 1800 number and explained our situation and was refunded the $30 and even received some bonus points. I had resorvations made earlier the following Monday and as we were checking in I mentioned the pillows and the charges. I was told another customer requested extra pillows and were taken from our room. What I didn't understand is why the hotel didn't call me about the missing pillows instead of billing our stay. I would stay only if last resort and will report anything damaged or missing from the room immediately to the front desk.
The hotel community jacuzzi wasn't working properly and the water smelled bad. The shower in our room made me smell like chlorine.

I booked a room at Hampton Inn for two nights thru hotels.com. I checked in and stayed in the hotel for the first night. The next day when I came back to my room at the hotel my key card did not work. When I went to the front desk they told me the key card did not work because I was checked out by the hotel without my knowledge. The reason they said I was checked out was because I was only booked for one day. They then offered to book me for a second night, but at a higher rate. I showed the person at the front desk my confirmation that I had booked the room for two nights (and in fact had already paid for two nights through hotel.com). They said that was my problem, not the hotel's problem and that if I wanted the room I would have to pay the higher rate. I told the front desk clerk that this was crazy and asked to talk to a manager. She called a manager and he also said I would need to pay the higher rate. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced in any industry. I went to a hotel down the street (Comfort Inn) and had a great experience at that new hotel. If you choose to stay at the Hampton Inn, do so at your own risk. You have been warned.
As a side note, hotel guests constantly gathered on the third floor (where my room was) with their kids who were playing hockey in the hall (which was loud) and none of those guests were wearing masks for COVID.

Outstanding hotel! The management (Dave) pm manager and staff were exceptional in accommodating all 8 of us attending a social distanced out of town graduation. Every hurdle with COVID restrictions/arrangements/rooms was handled perfectly even allowing us to borrow a laptop to connect to large screen tv for virtual graduation. Very clean as well! Thank You!

Stayed in April 2024 and May 2024 with help from Gail and other front counter staff. This location was handy for us to visit with family, the room was clean, tidy and sanitized very well. The housekeeping staff and maintenance were handy when a couple of small things were needed (new towels, tightening of swimming pool ladder and fixing stuck quarters in the guest laundry dryer). They were fast and efficient to meet anything that was needed. Right across the street is a store called "Horrocks" that has everything you might need in the way of food, entertainment and sweets. Restaurants like Cheddars, Texas Roadhouse, The Tangy Crab and many more including fast food are very handy. Easy access to the highways from this hotel and fuel stations, stores for shopping and banks are within a mile or more too!
Gail is amazing and the other front counter staff are very helpful. There is small indoor store in the hotel but Horrocks is the place to go for other items. Access to downtown Lansing and other local attractions makes this a great place to stay.
Don't overlook this location because it is great for business people, groups and families. The hot tub and pool are good amenities along with the fitness room.

We had a nice stay, the front desk was very cordial and let our team parents hang out together. the rooms were decent, I'm weird about pillows. so i wish i would have brought my own, rooms were clean but a bit worn and dated. we had shereasa clean our room and she was amazing. I would say things like dusting baseboards, carpet edges. areas like these were not a priority to give it a super clean feel. but for the most part was ok. the hot tub was in need of cleaning, very filmy, but was nice that it was available. All and all it was still a great stay. very close to the expressway which was great for the travel back and forth to the rink.
