Una brezza innocua. Bispuri tenta di spingersi più in là che può per parlare degli incroci, dei desideri che si scontrano, delle cose sbagliate che sono in realtà al posto giusto; la fiammella del conflitto, però, è un po' fioca. Libero e schematico allo stesso tempo, funziona più come gioco di intrecci e di personaggi che altro.

Took this mostly because I was taken by surprise that I didn't hear that Bispuri had a new one out and wanted to double check my reaction to Figlia Mia and this type of purposefully 'minor' festival / arthouse joints. Still on board when it's done with so much detail as it's done here. Helps to have Alba Rohrbacher. Also helps to throw a 🦚 in your film for good measures. Endlessly fascinating dynamic between how it looks at the camera \/ how the camera looks at the 🦚
Immaginate la regista davanti al divano che guarda È solo la fine del mondo di Dolan.
E che il giorno seguente si siede davanti al suo computer e in preda a un raptus creativo inizia a scopiazzare di la e di qua. I dialoghi di Carnage! I silenzi di Dolan! La stramberia di Favolacce! Il pavone, che neanche Sorrentino! La fotografia di Dolan! Magari la fotografia la fa proprio Dolan! Lui in persona!

Ecco. Tutto ciò è più avvincente di questa schifezza.
Der Pandemie ist es geschuldet, dass aus dem größeren Film nichts wurde und die Regisseurin auf eine Drehbuchskizze von Silvana Tamma zurückgriff. Offensichtlich ging die Geschichte den beiden leicht von der Hand. In acht Monaten war der Film fertig, vom Drehbuch bis zur Postproduktion. Aber gerade der heruntergeschraubte Anspruch kommt der Wahrhaftigkeit der flüssigen Inszenierung zugute. Nichts will hier „Bigger than Life“ sein. Das Drama wirkt alltagsnah und wie locker aus dem Ärmel geschüttelt, zugleich aber stilsicher und fein im Gespür für die nötige Verdichtung. - Peter Gutting

Pure questa volta ho difficoltà a sbilanciarmi in negativo. L'esperienza in sala mi fa troppo uno strano effetto per riuscire a criticare un film. Mi ritrovo sempre a dire che è la versione migliore di quello che poteva essere. Ovviamente non è così, ma mai io potrei fare il critico, è evidente.
Mi viene da ridere se penso alla vignetta satirica che ho letto sul Ciak a Venezia, in cui si dice che Alba Rohrwacher interpreta Alba Rohrwacher. Ci sarà anche un fondo di verità ma ci sono certi personaggi che come li fa lei non li potrebbe fare nessuno.
