Netflix’s That ‘90s Show is returning to the streaming service in two parts starting this summer.
A sequel series to the hit Fox sitcom That ‘70s Show, the first part of That ‘90s Show—which consisted of 10 episodes—debuted on Netflix in January 2023 and was an immediate hit with audiences.
Over the weekend, Netflix announced that the second and third parts of That ‘90s Show would premiere on June 27 and October 24, along with a trailer for the upcoming episodes.
According to Deadline, That ‘90s Show—which is set in the mid-1990s in the original That ’70s Show location of Point Place, Wisconsin—will consist of two eight-episode blocks.
That ‘90s Show features That ‘70s Show stars Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp as Red and Kitty Forman, the parents of Eric Forman (Topher Grace) in the original series. Grace returned as a guest star in That ‘90s Show along with several That ‘70s Show castmates including Laura Prepon (Donna), Wilmer Valderrama (Fez), Ashton Kutcher (Michael) and Mila Kunis (Jackie).
Set 15 years after the end of That ‘70s Show, That 90s Show introduces Eric and Donna’s daughter, Leia (Callie Haverada), who stays with her grandparents for the summer.
Who Else Stars In ‘That ‘90s Show’?
Like That ‘70s Show, That ‘90s Show largely concentrates on the crazy exploits of a small group of teens in Point Place, Wisconsin.
In addition to Callie Haverada playing Leia Forman, That ‘90s Show introduces Mace Coronel as Jay, the son of Michael and Jackie Kelso.
Rounding out the teen group in That ‘90s Show are Gwen (Ashley Aufderheide), Nate (Maxwell Acee Donovan), Ozzie (Reyn Doi) and Nikki (Sam Morelos).
Included in the footage of the new That ‘90s Show trailer are original That ‘70s Show stars Laura Prepon (Donna), Don Stark (Bob) and Tommy Chong (Leo).
While the first season of That ‘90s Show also included guest stints from Topher Grace, Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis and Wilmer Valderrama, none of the stars appear in the announcement trailer for the return of the series.
More details are sure to be revealed before That ‘90s Show returns for Part 2 on June 27 on Netflix. Kunis told Entertainment Tonight in April that neither she nor her real-life husband Kutcher were returning to the series.
“I mean, we did our thing and I think they introduced our son—like it was our son in the show,” Kunis told ET.
Danny Masterson, who played Steven Hyde in the original That ‘70s Show, was sentenced in September 2023 to 30 years to life in prison after being convicted of two counts of rape in June 2023.
