Annual concert in Memorial Park announces headliner and special guest
The city of Omaha announced the headliner of the annual summer concert at Memorial Park on June 28.“This concert is a highlight of Omaha’s summer event line-up and a true gift to our city’s residents,” said Mayor Jean Stothert. “This concert is made possible through the collaboration of multiple city departments, and there’s nothing quite like seeing the entire Omaha community come together to enjoy the show as a result.”The concert will feature Irish rock band Inhaler.The band features singer and guitarist Elijah Hewson, guitarist Josh Jenkinson, bassist Robert Keating, and drummer Ryan McMahon.The headliner will be Roger Daltrey, who is most notably from the popular rock band The Who. Daltrey has been wowing crowds for over 60 years and has been inducted with The Who into the Grammy Hall of Fame.Throughout the day the concert will also feature local musicians in between sets, and everything will be followed up by fireworks.Click here for the latest headlines from KETV NewsWatch 7
