MEET JIMMY
Jimmy Sengenberger is the investigative columnist at The Denver Gazette, where he writes twice weekly on pivotal issues and exposes government failures. Until recently, he hosted The Jimmy Sengenberger Show weekends on Denver’s News/Talk 710KNUS. He also hosted Business for Breakfast, a mornings how on the former KDMT radio, and Jimmy at the Crossroads, a webshow and podcast for The Washington Examiner. Jimmy contributes to The Washington Examiner, The Federalist and other publications. He is also an accomplished harmonica player, performing under the stage name “Jimmy Junior.” He is the founder and frontman of the Jimmy Junior Blues Band.
A rising commentator on the Colorado and national stages, Jimmy, now 33, has been nationally recognized as a leading conservative, such as being placed on 2018 a list of “11 Up and Coming Young Conservatives You Should Know About” by Western Journal and was twice recognized as an Under 30 Leading Republican by Newsmax. He was also one of ColoradoBiz Magazine’s 2020 “GenXYZ Top 50 Young Professionals.” He is the 2023 winner of the Independence Institute’s prestigious Vern Bickel Award for Grassroots Leadership.
Jimmy has contributed to several other publications, including The Federalist, Newsweek, MarketWatch, and The Denver Post, among others.
