Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- klae106Kent, UK13 contributionsWent to see Frank Skinner, was a great little venue, bit warm but other than that great, and the staff were really friendly, would definitely return.Written 6 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Carlie LovegoodChatham, UK45 contributionsI've been here twice 20th April 2024 with my mum after seeing Curtains Up at the Orchard Theatre which was brilliant by the way. Then last week by myself to do Ventriloquism videos and I took loads of pictures for memories. I will definitely be going back.
If you're ever in Dartford I highly recommend Central Park.Written 5 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Stuart HBanbury, UK64 contributionsThere is plenty of (pay and display) parking close by too. This museum is small but free to enter. For such a small, borough museum it is packed with interest and features exhibits of local history and natural history. I encourage return visits as there are frequently themed, temporary visiting exhibitions too.Written 2 November 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Peter RDartford, UK1,272 contributionsWe went here for the first time in August. There is plenty of parking and an honest box for a £1 parking fee which we did pay. There are a number of pathways through the wooded country park area which do not take long to walk around. We then exited by one of the gates and extended our walk in the surrounding countryside.Written 30 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - marlinKentkent21 contributionsMy son and his partner married at The Manor Gatehouse on 10 June 2023. The staff went above and beyond for the happy couple. They were so accommodating and friendly. We were there for quite a long time and did not feel at all rushed. The gardens are beautiful for photos. A wonderful experience.Written 19 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Caroline69 contributionsStephen Oliver Gallery is lovely, obviously a very gifted artist. From original pieces to framed prints his work is gorgeous. Copies of his work exist on fridge magnets and cards starting at a few pounds.
Owner also does alot for the local community.Written 19 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Stuart HBanbury, UK64 contributionsI was born and brought up in Dartford and have known this wonderful heath for over sixty years. I invariably return to it whenever I am in the area. Hardly changed in all that time, it's a green oasis within an otherwise fairly urban environment. The flora and fauna is most varied as the heath has habitats from grassland to birchwoods and ancient hawthorn thickets. (One is unlikely nowadays, however, to spot a Dartford Warbler here!) There are several sandy ponds in which common frogs and smooth and palmate newts breed. Popular with dog-walkers the Heath can be busy in places at times but this can be easily avoided. Also, nearby arterial roads create some background noise. For those nervous of getting lost (!), many attractive walks have been marked out.Written 2 November 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - leuveenUnited Kingdom1,281 contributionsOne of the nicest woods for a stroll I've visited in some time. - John K2 contributionsOne of the top fisheries in Kent. Well kept considering it is open to the public. Reasonable prices compared to other fisheries. Bailiffs are friendly and helpful.Written 5 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Stuart HBanbury, UK64 contributionsLess than a mile from Dartford town centre and a similar distance from the M25, here is a beautiful freshwater lake fed from the local River Darent. Obviously popular with anglers, it is also a fantastic place around which to walk. One could be anywhere! It certainly does not give the impression of being so close to urban areas.Written 2 November 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
