Do you like alpacas? I mean REALLY like alpacas. Well then finally here is the alpaca heavy movie you've always dreamed of. And man, if you like Nicholas Cage and alpacas well then brace yourself. No actor has delivered alpaca based dialogue with more conviction than Mr Cage or shared such sizzling chemistry with our four footed fleecy friends. I mean yes there are other actors in it and at some point a plot is at risk of breaking out, but you are here for the alpacas. Don't deny it. Four and a half fleeces out of five.

I've seen this 5x and will probably see it 3-4x more in my life. A lovely movie with more charm than you'd think

Whoever cast this shouldn't work in showbiz anymore. The acting was sooooo bad in places. Like almost "The Room" bad. Particularly Ward and Ezra. The scenes with them together were unwatchable and so uncomfortable just because it was like they were reading off a script like two first semester high school drama students. Nick Cage was good, but couldn't redeem it. It gets a star for the concept and story though, and two more for the outstanding cinematography.

Don't listen to notjim; this is a great film. It is a modern take on a 1920s short story, an H.P. Lovecraft short story turned into a film. It was different and creative. It's a fun Syfy film.
