We have one of these from last year and my daughter loved it until it stopped working a few months in (one eye stopped going back to the "friendly" look). She asked for a replacement, so I ordered one, and it's not the same. Somehow it's less and more creepy at the same time with its new teeth?
I started giving my niece these toys a few years ago, and she looks forward to a new one each year. Last year she asked me if they had a unicorn, and sure enough, one was offered this year. She was delighted.
