How long for unlock code?

Hello All,

I purchased a pre-owned Galaxy S7 edge. I submitted an online request for unlock code. (about 12 hours ago)
Code supposedly expires in 24 hrs. I tried to re-submit, however am prevented as there is 'request pending' for that IMEI.

I called ATT, they said I could call or visit local ATT store. Local ATT store says exact opposite...
Anyone know how long the unlock code usually takes?

Anyone??
Thanks!!

Once you send a request to unlock your device, you will get an email with a verification link which expires in 24 hours. If you don't ratify your request by clicking on that link your request will be canceled and you should do the process again from the beginning. You'll get an answer by email for your request within 2 bussines days with some information about unlock process and Sim Card installation. To check request status you'll need your request number (which is in the first email) and the IMEI number of related device.

Once you get approved to and have the unlock code follow this steps.

1. Turn off your Galaxy.

2. Take the AT&T SIM out of the slot.

3. Insert the SIM from the other wireless carrier.

4. Power the phone back on. When the phone prompts, provide the unlock code that you received from AT&T.

5. Complete the remaining setup process by following the displayed instructions.

6. Start using your Galaxy normally.

Please keep in mind: Five unsuccessful unlock attempts permanently locks the device to the AT&T network.
