It’s that time of year when we vore who was Newcatsle’s Player of the Season.

The first thing that comes to mind is many of our players were out injured last season so hopefully, we can improve the medical facilities and procedures so that doesn’t happen again in the coming season.

This season with the horrendous injuries we’ve had I always feared we would break Bruno or Gordon due to sometimes having to play them a full 90mins 3 times a week!
Both have had a superb season & have give everything they have(we can’t ask for any more so I wouldn’t argue with anyone that picked either for POTS!
A special mention also to young Miley,to come in to a PL team & put in his performances without any sign of nerves or fear was phenomenal to watch & even against the PSG midfield he won his personal duels!
He has a bright future under Eddie.

    Fenham

You just can’t put a stop to your child-like behaviour can you.

Surely you should be trying to set an example to your son of how a mature, balanced adult should behave?

Grow up before he looks in and sees the tripe you post.

Have you seen above, in the list Ed posted, some of our past players of the season?

No disrespect, and I remember their respective seasons, but it’s not exactly a who’s who list. How, many of those would get in a top six team? And they were our best.

I don’t get much transfer news but It’s came from a good source, interest now in Sesko is concrete and he’s our biggest target this window. Much like Isak can come in from the left wing Sesko comfortable In coming in from the right wing and therfore seen as a good balance.

    Mund,

I hope your source is spot on mate as Sesko would be an unreal signing and would fit in to the squad just right. Fingers crossed

There will be competition so important we get business done early. Put a decent fee on the table and get it done. If we try to be too clever and drive the price down we’ll lose out to others.

Foden, Bellingham. Pick one or both? We need to realise that the best option for some games will be leaving one of them on the bench. We are obsessed with the starting 11. An English problem!

He has been spot on in the past and was the first to break the Adidas news before media or anyone else.

He does go on to say it will be a battle for him as interest is high but he is a priority.

Depends on who comes to the table I guess but won’t be easy

    Onmeed

Early and quick is the way with a player like him but then it depend on what he wants and whether he wants to wait it out to see who else comes to the table.

A really difficult deal but you have to be at the table to stand a chance and good to see we are.

Defo Gordan for me, went to last summers, Euro 21’s won it, was UEFA player of the tournament, came back to Newcastle and flew straight out to the US to join the rest of the team, Zero Holiday, then plays just about every game this season, on and off field he’s been a remarkable young lad, he will go far in the game.

Sesko has a huge future and has a really high ceiling that’s for sure. If he is an intelligent lad and is provided with the place the club have going forward and what he could be part of, he will surely sign on the dotted line…

Him and Mamardashvili are the ones I hope we get over the line. Also Tosin would be a fantastic Signing and exactly what we need along with Kelly

    Kelly apparently done and dusted

Olise another supposed top target but also another difficult one to get done with the high interest in him also.

Steve Bruce saying he tried to sign Eze and Olise while he was here, but they both wanted to stay in London. Pinch of salt?

More like he had them on his Christmas list hoping the Santa would deliver!

I would still love to get Sesko as I thought we might have missed out on him after going to Red Bull Plus to up his price and interest.

Tosin in a super player and far better on the ball than he is given credit for . Would be a super signing. If Sesko is swayed by London, hard to look past Arsenal.

Well I really had to give my vote to Anthony Gordon!

After misgivings when he first signed – how wrong could I have been!

In my opinion he has been magnificent it was hard to go past Isak & Bruno but that’s the way my vote went.

    🙂 🙂 🙂
