Hawthorne High School was overall a great experience for me, I felt very comfortable and safe in that school and throughout the years I made a lot of friends with different cultural backgrounds. The best part of Hawthorne High School were the activities since the school had them pretty frequently, recently we had a high school “Coachella” is what they called it and that was definitely a memorable experience since a band called full circle came to play at our school. In the school I have never really had any bad experiences, one thing I would want them to do more of is school field trips since during the whole school years I have only been on one field trip that I signed up for. Overall I believe Hawthorne high is an amazing school and it really prepares students for the future.
Hawthorne High School all and all is a decent school. It has the necessary resources for everyone to succeed and pursue a dream of college. Unfortunately, the students aren't inclined to use the resources present to its fullest. The teachers do provide support for all students, whether it be for sports or academics. Same with the staff. The sports here are ok, but they are not given the support of the students. No team spirit here aside from football and volleyball and maybe basketball. We have good AP level courses if you are wanting to head in that path. So overall, Hawthorne High School is a decent school that provides for its students, but the culture that surrounds the place hasn't been able to back it up.
Wonderful support for college support. Teachers are very supportive and knowledgeable about getting kids into college.
