Because Spokane, Washington is a natural substitute for New York City.
Actually, I shouldn't dog an independent film like that as they try to do their best with what little money and resources they have. This is a film involving my bae (Rachael Leigh Cook) that I hadn't seen before but as I'll explain at the end, something listed as a comedy is what I needed to see last night.
The plot is simple enough: because of reasons, a young man has to work as a doorman in a ritzy apartment complex, and a romance develops between him and a young lady who lives there. That dude is from an Boston Irish family and as Rachael is that guy's sister,…
Watched cause it was free in YouTube pretty funny when snoop dog showed up and he’s a good and funny actor. Pretty dumb and a lil homophobic but a guess that was ok then 👎🏳️🌈
I am cooperating with authorities, and will be releasing a public statement regarding why I chose to watch this piece of shit shortly.
I'm glad I decided to watch this as this was actually quite a cute romantic comedy with two really nice leads in Joseph Cross and Sarah Roemer. Rachael Leigh Cook, Joe Pantoliano, and Snoop Dogg do some fine work in smaller roles, though it's mainly the two leads who shine. Extremely predictable, as there's not a single story beat I didn't see coming, but that really doesn't matter when the characters are so charming and fun.
I WATCHED THIS BECAUSE RACHAEL LEIGH COOK'S NAME WAS ON THE BOX...SHE PLAYS A SMALL BUT ADORABLE ROLE...THE FILMAROUND HER IS GOOD THOUGH...EVEN FINDING A NICE ROLE FOR SNOOP DOGG...I ENJOYED IT.
Was hoping to like this more, but the amateurish layout of the film had me thinking Hallmark or Lifetime. And don't get me started on the crappy score.
