which gardens to visit from kyoto?

Hi. Leaving tomorrow finally. As part of our trip we will be in Kyoto for a week (May 24-31). We have the Setouchi pass active starting May 27. Some day trips we are considering are Hemeji, Okayama (for garden only) and Nara. I know there are gardens at all 3 places. Given our timing, which are you favorites? Is it worth the 22 minute train ride to Okayama from Himeji to see Korakuen garden? Do we see the one in Nara too? Himeji garden too?

Of the ones you named, I liked Kokoen next to Himeji Castle the most. It's small but pretty and well organized.

I thought the one in Okayama was okay. I wouldnt go out of my way for it.

If you are going from Tokyo to Nagoya then Fuji-san would be visible on the right side of the train after Shin-Yokohama (maybe before), weather permitting.
