NORTHBOROUGH, MASS. - August Claridge of the Carthage women's lacrosse team has been named Second Team All-Region for the Great Lakes Region by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA), the association announced Friday.
Claridge, a freshman from Wheaton, Ill., led the CCIW in goals with 83 (eighth in NCAA DIII), as well as goals per game (4.61). Claridge finished third in the conference in free position percentage (.548), second in points (94), points per game (5.22), shots per game (8.39), and shots on goal per game (6.33).
The Firebirds finished the season with an overall record of 11-7 and a conference record of 4-2. For more information, visit athletics.carthage.edu.
