question about Blast doubles

Technique

first off i have no problem hitting them, what im wondering about is when i take my man down how the hell do i avoid guard? everytime ive blast doubled someone ive had to do even more work breaking and passing guard. thoughts?

It kind of comes with the territory of blast doubles.

I pull his knees in tight, squeeze them together, and pivot my hips to the side. Then I move to a tightwaist (I belive that is the American term) and go to sidemount from there.
