Stay away from Tripsta! Currently I am facing big issue. I need to cacel my booking but Tripsta's Phone not working and everytime I am emailing them, received standard automated response. I called Airline but they are not able to cancel ticket and told me that I must contact Tripsta for cancellation. Can someone advise how to do next step????

If you read just a small part of this posting you’ll find all the answers. Why are you asking a question that others have asked and it’s been answered?

That's pretty easy seeing as they are out business. I'm sure all the people that would have used them will be sucked in by some other shonky outfit which we will read about on here in due course.

Reading all these posts from posters saying that they can't get in touch with Tripsta (since Tripsta went bust), I can see how they came to do business with an outfit like Tripsta.

They simply don't read anything.

You’ve hit the nail on the head PPC. They can’t be bothered to read anything, oh so lazy they want others to do their work for them.

I'm sure that there are a minority who just can't read anything more than a few words long and don't understand proper sentences. I blame Twitter.

Although we may never hear from pram0d55 again, the cancellation of his flight may be the least of his worries. Since Tripsta hadn't paid their bills (to the airlines) for who knows how long, there may be no ticket to cancel.

In that case, if Tripsta had placed a charge on his credit card which was processed but there is no ticket then he could contact his card provider to see what could be done about disputing the charge. If Tripsta had made a booking and paid for it then it was very likely a nonrefundable ticket and the chance of any refund there will be microscopic.

PPC's post 135 is probably fairly accurate for a number of people who complain about third party ticket floggers. Too many people have the attention span of a mayfly....

Perhaps we should take bets on how long before someone adds to this thread warning others not to use Tripsta and how they can’t get a refund on their non-refundable ticket and that no one at Tripsta is answering the phone.
